Vehicle Storage Grand Rapids

Why Moving Might Need Vehicle Storage in Grand Rapids

Coordinating a move can be rough, especially when it comes to keeping your car safe.  We were happy to help a gentleman store his BMW last week. He was moving from Grand Rapids to the Dallas Metro area. He needed to move his family before his car was to be transported. So, Grand Rapids Towing was happy to help.  We brought out a flatbed and placed his 2019 BMW securely on it. We drove it to our location. Then we stored it safely in our high security lot until the vehicle transport truck showed up.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Grand Rapids Towing is a great place to store your vehicle.

Details for Vehicle Storage Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids Towing was contacted for vehicle storage in Grand Rapids this week.  A gentleman who owned a 2019 BMW Z4 with 944 miles was moving from Michigan to Texas.  The moving company contracted with Grand Rapids Towing to tow his BMW Z4 to our lot for safe vehicle storage until the transport driver arrived several days later. To start the vehicle storage Grand Rapids process, our flatbed towing driver drove out to the former home of the gentleman who was moving. The vehicle storage process continued when our driver pulled up to the gentleman’s house. The next step of the vehicle storage process required that our driver back up to the 2019 BMZ Z4.  Our driver then attached a towing hook to the body of the car and winched it up onto the flatbed. The front tires rolled one foot until they hit the ramp of the flatbed. The front tires then rolled onto the ramp of the flatbed. First, the left tire rolled up. Next, the right tire followed. The vehicle storage process continued as the 2019 BMW Z4 with 944 miles rolled all the way up the ramp and settled down. The driver from Grand Rapids Towing then attached the front frame of the BMW with towing straps and towing chains.  Next, the driver from Grand Rapids Towing attached the back of the BMW with towing straps and towing chains. The left side chain had to be securely fastened down with care as the BMW was new. The owner of the BMW wanted to be sure his car was safe so he could drive it in Texas. Several days later, the transport truck showed up to remove the BMW form vehicle storage. A Grand Rapids Towing specialist helped the transport driver place the BMW onto the transport truck as part of the process of taking the BMW out of vehicle storage Grand Rapids.
